Shatox Instruments is a manufacturer of such widely-known devices as octane and cetane number analyzer - OCTANE ANALYZER, and oil product low- temperature characteristics meter – CRYSTAL used to test diesel fuel, motor oil, and aviation kerosene parameters. These devices have become widely adopted for oil products quality assay. The state-of-the-art capabilities and long-term experience in oil products express-analysis allow us to continuously upgrade the instruments.

Rapid methods for analyzing quantitative and qualitative basic parameters of oil products are more efficient as compared to conventional ones, and hence, have recently penetrated the instrumentation market.

Originally, the company was established by a group of scientists and developers from the Institute of Petroleum Chemistry (Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences) in order to provide the growing oil products market with the technologies for express-analysis of gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, and lubricant quality.
