A modification of the universal fuel and oil quality analyzer SX-200 Octane analyzer is designed for determination of gasoline type and octane number, cetane number of diesel fuel, as well as for estimation of diesel fuel pour point and purity level and quality of motor, industrial and transformer (dielectric breakdown voltage) oil.

Measurement results can be stored in the analyzer's memory and transferred to a PC.

Capability to make an individual measurement program (according to the customer's requirements) allows adjusting the instrument to analyze the quality of any gasoline. Consequently, it can be used for quality control of gasoline types manufactured in any country. With the help of a PC the instrument enables to conduct measurements and correction in a fast and convenient way, with the data being saved in txt or xls format.

A new advanced microprocessor is used in the analyzer for quick and accurate results processing. The device measures and displays the gasoline octane number by research RON and motor MON methods, as well as antiknock index AKI (an arithmetic mean between RON and MON, (RON+MON)/2). The instrument has a battery charge indicator and the display backlight.

The use of SX-200 is recommended for the purpose of reducing the usage frequency of motor facilities and the time required for analysis during the monitoring processes of fuel parameters stability between blending at the fuel storage and outlet sites, during the processes of bringing the fuel mixture parameters up to the required ones at the intermediate and final stages of technological processes of fuel production – where the gasoline quality needs to be controlled.

The SX-200 Octane analyzer is recommended for use at filling stations, petroleum refineries, Customs, environmental and supervisory organizations, electric power stations as a portable universal device to control fuel and oil quality.
